Three Reasons I'm Not In The Office Today...

There are three reasons I am not in the office today….. the Suzanne James team had the absolute pleasure of cooking a wonderful three course lunch for The Lord Mayor of London!

For this lunch our chefs, Sarah, David and I cooked the most delicious Cod Fishcakes in Panko Crumb which were drizzled in a dash of @filippoberio_uk EV Olive Oil. The micro herbs we used on this delicious dish are from @mini_crops, we used parsley cress and lemon balm.

The main course was @savinitartufi Truffle Oil scented Anna Potatoes, Baby Leeks and Chanterelles from @smithandbrock topped with @flockandherd Guinean Fowl breast. The sauce was a very good stock base with a scrumptious slog of Madeira and finished with a little butter for added luxury and to give a velvet finish.

Dessert was our take on a Poire Belle Helene, or the most sought after deliciously squidgy brownie, warmed to take the edge off, with a vanilla and all spice infused poached English dessert pear, a rich chocolate sauce and of course, vanilla ice cream finished with some crunchy nibbed chocolate.
