A festive touch at fifty seven.....

It’s not Christmas every day and it’s not often that we have the opportunity to decorate our windows at home or at our place of work with twinkling lights and baubles so December does make me smile.

This year we gave a shout out to local art students to see if any might like to rummage through the Christmas decorations in our warehouse and come up with an idea or three for our Christmas window at fifty seven.

The brief…

  • Use what we already have
  • Must be suitable for a corporate client
  • Must not be a hazard if we have little ones visiting with parents
  • Zero budget!

To our surprise there were a few local youngsters that came forward and after careful consideration we chose a lovely young art student, Alise Gricika, 18, from Forest Hill.

This very quiet and shy young lady spent the best part of 5 hours carefully selecting and polishing our rather dated decs and hanging them beautifully in the window. I hope you will all agree that our window does look quite simply  stunning.

So well done Alise, you have done us proud and are well deserving of your prize.
