Frida Kahlo inspired bridal shoot at the Horniman Conservatory

Frida Kahlo fever is at it’s peak right now, since the launch of the Victoria & Albert Museum’s latest exhibition; Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up.

The exhibition presents an extraordinary collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexican artist. Locked away for 50 years after her death, this collection has never before been exhibited outside Mexico and it seems all things Kahlo are bang on trend.

The website Rock My Wedding have taken inspiration from this for one of their latest blogs – the gorgeous concept was created by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, and styled by Anna Fern Weddings and is a celebration of soft and delicate and bold and beautiful, giving you the best of both words. The overall effect is just stunning.

Roberta Facchini Photography worked her magic behind the lens, making full use of all the light flooding in the glasshouse at Horniman Museum and Gardens beautiful Grade II Listed Conservatory, capturing every last detail – see the amazing photos here.
